Last weekend we packed our bags and headed off to the bright lights of Islington for this year's Stylist Live show.
Organised by the super fashionable folk at Stylist magazine, the four day show is a round up of everything that’s cool and happening right now, including over 150 talks and workshops, and selected boutique pop-up shops (that’s us), and free pampering and style advice.
What with it being jam packed with the hippest stylists, bloggers, and fashionistas, we consequently spent far too long deciding what we were going to wear, and then realised we were taking our watch collection with us, so everyone was going to be far too busy looking at the latest Newgate collections to question whether our shoes really went with this outfit. Phew.
The show was really buzzing and we met loads of lovely people, spread the Newgate love and discovered Islington are BIG fans of Newgate Watches - hoorah! (Also we got a little bit starstruck, and took some selfies with celebs. Please don’t judge us).
Hot stuff fashion and beauty vlogger Estee Lalonde was there launching her beautiful new book Bloom. She was almost as excited to meet us as we were to meet her. Honest! Plus we found out that she is a Blip watch with stainless steel mesh strap kinda lady.
And we discovered that queen of eye shadow (have you seen her latest music video yet?) and ever radiant singer songwriter Sophie-Ellis Bextor is an Electric girl through and through. So, glad we got that one sorted.
